I am saddened to hear of the loss of Mr. Dean. I pray that the Lord would sustain and comfort the Dean family in the coming days. I know Mr. Dean had a profound impact on many people in Osceola. Very sad to hear of James' passing. His Barber Shop was a fixture in downtown Osceola and I visited on many occasions. His house on Marjorie St. was a great place to hang out and play pool with his son, Bob when I was growing up. Prayers and condolences for his children, Lorie, Bob and Susan and for his wife, Mary Anne.
I’m sorry to hear of his passing. I think back to when I first moved to Osceola years ago. He agreed to trim my hair after cutting my husband‘s hair. My hair was waist length and he got down on his knees to trim my hair. We all just laughed when he said it was a ‘first’ for him. Then a few years later while working next door to him at the Osceola Times, we would often visit. Such a nice gentleman. I am so sorry for your loss.
