of Bauxite, AR
October 5, 1938 - October 26, 2024
Margaret Ellen Stinson, 86, of Bauxite went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
Margaret was born October 5, 1938 in Little Rock, AR, a daughter of the late Albert and Bessie Brenton.
Margaret worked for the North Little Rock School District for thirty-five years, making many friends and sharing God's love with co-workers and the children who attended North Heights Elementary, Boone Park Elementary and Poplar Street Middle School. Margaret was a long-time member of Baring Cross Baptist Church in North Little Rock and Pleasant Hills Baptist Church in Bauxite where both Margaret and Louis faithfully served the Lord and His people. Margaret and Louis loved the Lord and often drove neighborhood children to church on Sundays and Wednesdays so they could learn about Jesus.
Margaret loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren when she could. Her family will miss her, but they rely on the promise that she is more alive today because of her faith in Christ and that they will see her again in heaven.
In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Stinson, whom she married on August 6, 1958 and two sisters, Annette & Bill Evans and Wadene Brenton.
Margaret is survived by her three sons, Richard & Vicky Stinson of Gonzales, LA, Paul & Denise Stinson of Lake Dallas, TX and Mark & Karin Stinson of Cambridge, MN; eight grandchildren, Christopher Stinson, Jessica & Andrew Gonzalez, Nicholaus & Lauren Stinson, David Stinson & Gloria Pereyra-Castro, William Stinson, Phillip & Jenna Stinson, Emma Stinson and Kirsten Stinson; four great-grandchildren, Emma Gonzalez, Ava Gonzalez, Noah Stinson and Blakelee Stinson; one brother, Gene & Nancy Brenton of Bauxite; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home of Benton.

Your Mother was such a sweet ,kind person I enjoyed her visits when she came to visit at Trinity Baptist Church . Her love for Jesus shined through her smile and gentle spirit . I know she is not in pain anymore and she is finally seeing her Lord and Savior face to face , praying for your family
Always enjoyed when they came to Trinity in Cambridge they always stop to say hello and ask how I was doing sorry for your loss down here but they are rejoicing in heaven love you and will be praying for comfort in this time
One of our favorite people. She loved her Lord, her family, and her friends. The Rileys are richer for knowing and being loved by her and. Louis.
Both grieving and rejoicing with her family and friends.
