Nola Faye Norris, aged 81, of Jonesboro, AR passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Faye was born May 21, 1943 in Paragould, AR to William Luther and Mary Josephine (Ponder) Tribble, Sr. She worked for over 43 years at Frolic Footwear until retirement. She was of the Baptist belief. Faye loved to sew, her flower garden and being home with her family.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lovis West Barber and Minerva Bounds and two brothers, Glendon Tribble and Raymon Tribble.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Faye include her loving husband of 63 years, Carlton Norris; one son, Harold Norris and his wife, Lori; one grandson, Nick Norris and his wife, Megan; four brothers, Luther Tribble Jr., Kerry Tribble, Bill Tribble and Shelby Tribble and four sisters, Kathryn Mitchell, Doris Conrey, Evelyn Henry and Jane Bales.
Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro, AR, with Calvin Perry and Lyndon Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, AR.
Visitation will precede the service and begin at 10 am until time of service.
Nathan Perry, Caylon Perry, Larry Perry, Paul Tribble, Jason Parker and Matt Parker will serve as active pallbearers.
Faye's brothers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests lasting memorials be made in Faye's honor to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 E. Matthews, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
So sorry for your loss. Cousin Faye was well loved. I have many fond memories of her and Carolton.
