September 18, 1947 - October 24, 2024

Billie Diane Richardson, age 77, of Batesville, AR passed away peacefully on 10/23/2024 at The Springs of Batesville. Billie was born on September 18, 1947 to W.M. and Mary Mason of Pleasant Plains, AR.

Billie was a member of the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Pleasant Plains, AR. She graduated Pleasant Plains High School in 1965. Billie married Vance Richardson on September 6, 1973 and they spent over 51 years of marriage together.

Billie always had a charismatic personality with a contagious smile and always had kind words. She started working at Rising Fast Trucking in 1984 as the President's secretary until the company sold in the early 1990s and finished her working career at Harrison Street Rentals in 2012 where she sold and managed home properties. Billie then took up the role as full time Mimi to her beautiful grandchildren.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Richardson; parents, W.M. and Mary Mason and one brother, Harold Mason.

Billie is survived by one daughter, Deonna West and her husband, Ronnie West of Ocala, FL; four grandchildren, Reece and McKenna West of Ocala, FL and Alec and Olivia West of Omaha, NE.

Billie's favorite pastime was spending time with her family, shopping trips, eating out, sewing, refinishing furniture and she loved to play the piano and sing.

A special thanks to all of the staff at The Springs of Batesville, Gentiva Hospice and special friends that visited my mom through this journey.

My cousin Billie Diane (never just Billie, always Billie Diane) was not only beautiful but vivacious, and loved by all. I was the shy wallflower who followed in her wake, but she always included me and made me feel welcome. We got together whenever we could and had lots of fun and giggles. I feel bad because we lost contact with each other after we became adults. The world is a more somber place without her in it.
