David Keith Patterson, 75, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024 in Paris. He was born on August 14, 1949 in Wheeling, West Virginia to his parents, Newell and Helen (Hill) Patterson.
David was a Unites Stated Army Veteran who served in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart. He worked as a diesel mechanic for over 34 years with Ryder Truck Rental and loved cars and to fish.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Patterson and Darryl Patterson.
He is survived by two sons, David Patterson and wife Richelle of Clarksville and Daniel Patterson and wife Tiffany of Paris; two brothers, Kevin Patterson and wife Teresa of Houston, Texas and Robbie Patterson and wife Connie of Paris; four grandchildren, Joey Patterson, Annalee Patterson, Bailey Patterson and Emily Owen.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with burial of cremated remains to follow in Baxley Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

I have known David Patterson-Late 1970’s he was in Texas then.
I cannot say enough good things about this man- always a true friend always watched your back and protected you no matter what. I have been in touch with him and to see this breaks my heart more than anything has happened in my life- I will always love David Patterson- I know he is in Heaven with Danny Reynolds- I will miss him forever and hope to be able to see him again.

So sorry to hear of David's passing. I have good memories of him in our younger years. Of him playing guitar and laughing and visiting with all us cousins at Grandma Hixson s on holidays. How war changed who he was. I have a special place for him in my heart. I'll always remember his laugh.
