January 6, 1941 - October 22, 2024

Tommie Millsaps passed away peacefully October 22, 2024 at home in Conway. He was born to Charles and Bertie Millsaps on January 6, 1941. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Millsaps; mother, Bertie Millsaps; son, Kenneth W. Millsaps; brothers, Willie Edward Millsaps, Willie Earl Millsaps and Charles Millsaps Jr. and a sister, Melba Millsaps.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Linda Millsaps; a daughter, Kathy Millsaps Frank (Holger) of Colorado Springs, CO; two grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel) Wills and Tia Wills of Colorado Springs, CO; two great-grandchildren, Freddy and Luke Wills; one brother, Jerry Millsaps (Ruth) of Juneau, AK and one sister, Frances Millsaps Sanders (Boyed) of Conway, AR and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.

He will be remembered by family and friends as a great storyteller of old family history. He enjoyed being involved in his church in Oklahoma before moving to Conway. He loved fishing and the outdoors. He and his father and brother once boated the White River from Searcy to a channel that went across to the Arkansas River and took out there near Pendleton. That was one of his favorite stories to tell.

Tommie joined the Air Force straight out of high school and enjoyed the travel that came with his 22 years of service. He served in Vietnam and retired with 13 commendations at the rank of Master Sergeant.

A visitation will be Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Roller-McNutt Chapel in Conway, AR at 9:00am and the funeral will follow at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Romance Cemetery with pallbearers, Boyed Sanders, Alex Sanders, Nick Sanders, Cole Sanders, Darrell Hagood and Tyler Kirkpatrick. The honorary pallbearer is Timothy Millsaps.
