I had the pleasure of getting to know Mr. Sam over the past few years and it truly saddens me he won't be sitting in his "seat" anymore. He would come for lunch with David almost everyday at Exxon, except for when he was in the deer woods. He was such a delight to everyone there, employees and fellow customers, always smiling and talking to everyone. He definitely made an impression on so many. I cannot express how deeply he will be missed. I send my thoughts and prayers to all of his family and loved ones. I am so sorry for your loss. He was one of kind for sure.
Legend of the farming community. Sam was just a damn awesome gentleman. Find that tractor in the sky. Rest easy buddy.
RIP Sam! I’m thankful that are paths crossed this side of heaven and I look forward to seeing Sam again there.
Sam was a good man and a good friend!
We’re so sorry to hear that Mr. Sam passed way, he will be missed.
