Travis James Butler, born on April 27, 1968, grew up in Superior, Nebraska, passed away on October 14, 2024 in Conway, Arkansas. He was a cherished father, grandfather, brother and friend, known for his vibrant personality and infectious laugh.
Travis, jokingly known as TJ by a select few, had a passion for singing that resonated deeply with his love for music, particularly the captivating melodies of Stevie Nicks. He was a culinary enthusiast who enjoyed cooking and often filled his home with delicious aromas. His favorite pastime included spending time in the yard with his beloved grandchildren, creating lasting memories under the open sky.
Travis had an affinity for crime-based television shows, with "Law and Order", "NCIS", "CSI" and "Criminal Minds" among his favorites. He had a unique sense of humor and was known for his loud, welcoming presence that made everyone feel at ease. He loved to scare those around him and his playful antics left many with unforgettable stories of his mischievous surprises.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dr Judith Butler; father, Lonnie Butler; grandmother, Hazel Butler and grandfather, Floyd Butler. He is survived by his children, Kiaya Butler, 34, and her family, Donnie, Alexus and Jax Irvine; Ariana Partee, 31, and her family, Ziruss, Kynlee Butler, Kylan, Kristopher and Cayden Partee; Katarena Butler, 28, and her family, Joe Beck; stepson, Ja'Cobey Beck and daughter, Ava White and Alonnie Butler, 24, and her family, Orlando and Aubree Gillespie. Three bonus children, Tessa McMains, Britni Sanders, Marti Sloane and families. He is also survived by, Jolene Butler and Brian Duke, his aunt, Betty Butler and family, his uncle, Jim Butler and family and his siblings, Adron Fred Butler, Kate Butler, Tom Butler, Michelle Butler, Judy Hollinger, Stephanie Stillwell, Vivian Gulley and Christopher Eckert. Travis also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Travis's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, reminding them to cherish the beauty of full moons and sunsets, as he often said. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his warmth, humor, and love.

My heart breaks to hear the news. Travis was always so kind and loving to me when we were kids. I only hoped to see him again before he went home. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Butler family. He is with your mama and papa now. May God rest him, always.
