Elmer ''Bud'' Christian, 100, of Timbo, Arkansas passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Bud was born to the late Horace and Belle Christian on September 2, 1924 in Haynes, Arkansas.

Bud was a veteran of the United States Navy and served from 1944-1946 in World War II. Bud married the love of his life Maxine Simpson Christian and they were married for over 60 years until her death in 2017. Bud worked for 30 years as a union member iron worker in the Chicago area before retiring to Montana where he helped his son Terry in the hardware store. Bud enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing poker and gardening. He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

Bud is survived by his grandsons, Donald Eugene Christian Jr., Chris Christian, Jason Christian, Ryan Christian; granddaughter, Lisa Mancini; daughter-in-law and caregiver, Joni Christian; sister, Jackie Poole; and a host of family and friends.

Bud is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maxine Christian; his siblings; three sons, Donald Christian, Terry Christian, and infant son, Steven Christian.

Bud will be cremated and no services will take place at this time.
