My uncle Ron was a smart, insightful and funny man, a huge Razorback fan and great father, husband and uncle. I know these things because I knew his sweet wife Jill and his children when I was young. I knew my uncle again when he lived next door to my mom (Marsha), and he had that same spirit of asking how you are, how is your family He was a kind, caring person.
We will miss him greatly. He was and is a very sweet soul.

Ron was the oldest friend I had, since around 1954. Most memorable time was after graduating high school in 1967 we took a road trip with his brother Foster and Guy Veazey out West for 10 days. We spent many times bowling and playing football with his brothers and friends when we weren’t bowling. I will see him again one day soon. Much better times ahead.
