Saundra J. Rife

of Mountain Home, AR

November 7, 1941 - October 9, 2024

Mrs. Saundra J. Rife, 82, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in Ash Flat, AR surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 7, 1941 to John and Ida (Frodle) Kuzio, Saundra lived a life filled with love, dedication and warmth. She married the love of her life, Robert C. Rife, 65 years ago. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising one son, Chris (Christina) Rife and one daughter, Tina (Jeff) Barbee. She has five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving sister, Marian Dell (Tom) Evener.

Saundra's heart was as nurturing as her hands. She spent most of her professional life in banking customer service, where her kindness and patience left a lasting impact on her colleagues and clients. After moving to Mountain Home, she found fulfillment working at the Area Agency on Aging, dedicating her time to helping others.

Her passions extended into her personal life, where she found joy in the simple pleasures of gardening, sewing and crewel embroidery. Each stitch she made and every flower she planted was a testament to her meticulous care and love for beauty.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John J. Kuzio Jr. and Robert M. Homick. Saundra's gentle spirit, unwavering love and dedication to her family and community will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Services are private, reflecting Saundra's humble nature. The family invites those who knew and loved her to remember her in their hearts and continue to spread the kindness she embodied.

Mom, I miss you already!
Knowing you are singing, rejoycing, praising Jesus, and seeing family and friends in heaven is comforting. I'll cherish our memories we shared even in our adult lives. Your smile and encouraging words left a lasting legacy to all who knew you.

Love you so much!
