Nancy Ellen Cearley, age 82, of St. Joe, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024 at Hospice of the Hills in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 29th, 1942 to Rob Roy James and Mary Robbins James.
Nancy graduated from Julianne High School in Dayton Ohio. She worked various jobs throughout her lifetime. A few of her favorites were being manager at a gas station in Harrison, working at Ferguson's near Gilbert and working at the Flintrock Shirt Factory in Marshall. But her greatest accomplishment was being a wife and mother. She was an excellent homemaker and an amazing cook. She enjoyed gardening and riding horses. Nancy was a woman with many talents, including and not limited to being an avid artist and photographer. She loved the Buffalo River and spent many hours with friends and family on the gravel bar in Gilbert. She loved children and was always tender and patience with the many children that touched her life. Her tenderness and patience with all living creatures, whether human or animal will always be remembered and missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Ronny Trimble (Mary) of St. Joe; grandchildren, Nikita Macias (Hugo) of Kansas City, Missouri, Matthew Cearley of Kansas City, Missouri and Melissa Badder (Shad) also of Kansas City, Missouri; three great-grandchildren, Sophia Macias, Carter Cearley and Lacy Cearley; her sister, Teresa Klinksick (Patrick) of Harrison; her best friend, Pete Belanger and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who will also mourn her passing.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Rob Roy and Mary James; her husband, JB Cearley, who passed away in 2013; one son, Randy Lee Trimble and siblings, Danny James, Eva Drake, Catherine Casanova, Dorothy Barger, Jesse James and an infant brother, David James.
Funeral services for Nancy will be 1:00 PM Saturday, October 12th, 2024 at the Gilbert Christian Church in Gilbert, Arkansas with Bro. Terry Knapp officiating. Burial will follow in Gilbert Cemetery where Nancy will be laid to rest beside her son, Randy. Bearers will be Josh Elera, Matthew Cearley, Carter Cearley, Hugo Macias, Patrick Klinksick and Nathan Bing.
