August 21, 1933 - September 8, 2024

Catherine Faye (Redding) Henson, 91, of Madera, California formally of Paris, Arkansas went to be with her Heavenly Father, Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Catherine was born August 21, 1933, in Paris, Arkansas to her parents, John Horace Redding and Susie Belle (Christy) Redding. She grew up on a farm where her family raised most of their food. In 1951 she moved to Selma, California with her husband and child. Catherine worked in the cotton fields and the cannery while attending night school at Reedley Junior College, studying accounting. Her first job was as a Bookkeeper/Office Manager for a small car dealership in Selma. Catherine then took a job in Sanger, California, for Stockburger's Chevrolet where she worked as the Office Manager for 25 years while raising her granddaughter, Krista. Shortly after leaving, she returned to Sanger and worked for Lovgren Motor Co. as the Office Manager for another 25 years. She retired at the age of 72 and moved to Madera, California, and raised her great grandchildren, Alyssa and Rebecca. She loved to spend time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She said they were the joy of her life. Catherine's other joy was speaking to her sister Geneva daily where they chatted about all their family, and the shenanigans they were up to.

Catherine was proceeded in death by her parents; her spouse, Conard 'Dale' Noel; her brother, Arvel Redding; her sisters, Hazel Robberson, Roberta Robberson, Erma Wiggins, Esther Mae Whitson Cothran, and her daughter-in-law, Jill E. Rogers.

Catherine is survived by her sister, Geneva Morton; her son, Darrel L. Rogers; her grandchildren, Krista, Michael, Karen, Heather, Sheri, and Jared; her great grandchildren, Gabi, Alyssa, Rebecca, Jaynie, Richelle, Janelle, Richard, Sofia, Allison, Leann, Michael II, Matthew, Vernon, Hope, and Faith; her great-great grandchildren, Katherine, and Naomi; several other family members and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Harmony Assembly of God church near Paris with burial to follow at Moore Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be David Robberson, Thomas Robberson, Doug Morton, Travis Morton, Leon Wiggins and Jim Whitson

So sorry for the loss of my sweet Aunt. She sings in the Heavenly choir now; what a rejoicing. Many prayers for her loved ones grieving her loss.
