Iva Jewell Huey, age 95, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024. Born on March 13, 1929 in Gassville, Arkansas to Elizabeth Stafford Dilbeck and John Wesley Dilbeck. She married Jimmie Lee Huey on July 10th 1948 and remained life long residents of Mountain Home.
Jewell was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved and cared for her family very deeply. Her home was the gathering place for many meals and celebrations throughout the years which always included one of her amazing pies.
Jewell is survived by her grandson, Shannon (Tina) Kincade of Farmington, AR and Great Granddaughter, Ashton Kincade of Fayetteville, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmie Huey; her Daughter, Joyce Ann Kincade; her son in law, W.O. Kincade; her sisters, Leffel Albertsons, Inez London, Louise Lumbert and brothers, Clyde Dilbeck, Cliff Dilbeck and George Dilbeck.
We are eternally grateful for those that cared for grandma in her final years, especially Marcy Jensen and her niece, Denise Maguire.
A graveside service for Ms. Huey will be Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 3:30 PM in Baxter Memorial Gardens of Mountain Home.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Iva Jewell’s passing. I knew her my entire libe and remember the many Sunday pot luck dinners we had with her,Jimmy and Joyce Ann and my parents. They were good neighbors when we lived on Hwy 5 s. Rest in peace.

I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Jewel for for years at Baxter and she was a sweet lady. She suffered a great loss when she lost her only daughter but she is with her and her husband now in Heaven
