Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Murrel and Imogene Montgomery; her husband, Rick Cooper and her daughter, Kimberly Chudy. A loving daughter, sister and mother, Sandra died peacefully following a long and courageous fight to remain on this earth with her cherished family and friends. All who knew her considered themselves blessed.

Sandra's accomplishments and talents were many. After graduating as Salutatorian from Elaine High School, she studied Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends and clients, who all appreciated her intellectual insights and her remarkably genuine, dependable and impeccable character.

Sandra is survived by her son, James Bridges (Crystal) of Jonesboro, AR; her daughter, Brandy Bridges (Mike McLaughlin) of Charlottesville, VA; her brother, James Michael Montgomery (Karen) of Lambrook, AR; her sister, Mary Jane Montgomery of Mayflower, AR and her sister, Shirley Montgomery of San Antonio, TX. Sandra loved her two nephews, Colburn Clark and Mickey Gawlik. She also enjoyed the light of nine beautiful grandchildren who brought her great joy: Ryan Baber and Caroline Chudy of North Little Rock, AR; Tabitha, Dylan, Dakota and Tinsley Bridges of Jonesboro, AR and Jake, Maisie and Keira McLaughlin of Charlottesville, VA. She also leaves behind loving friends, Rita Daniels, Gloria Satterfield, Dennis Chudy and Scott Meislohn.

A visitation will be held from 9:30-11:30am on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. Sandy, you were such a fun person to be around. I had talk to you just a couple of weeks ago. You were one of the strongest people I have even known. God Bless you.

Sandy, we only saw each other a few times, but, I thoroughly enjoyed knowing you.
From the first time I met you at Mike and Brandy's wedding to the week we spent together at Maisie's and Keira's birth I felt a connection. You have been in my thoughts and prayers for the past few years and I will continue to pray that God will keep you safely in His care. You will be sorely missed.
