Warren Webster Crisp was born November 30, 1936 to Daniel Webster Crisp and Marjorie Ruth Thompson Crisp at Connells Point, Arkansas. He was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ in Louisiana. He was a farmer, cattleman, truckdriver and horseman. Warren was known by many in the horse and cattle circles as he served as President of both the Arkansas Quarter Horse Association and the Arkansas Angus Association.
He is preceded in by his parents; wives, Betty Hanes Crisp and Carolyn McClendon and one brother, James Harold Crisp.
Warren is survived by his two daughters, Sherry Wooten (Mike) of Tyler, Texas and Kerry Stiles (Ramey) of Marianna, Arkansas; Stepson, David McCuen (Jeri Sue) of Shongaloo, LA and stepdaughter, Debbie Dean of Springhill, LA. Grandchildren, Damon Wooten (Sylvia) of Boerne, TX, Shawn Wooten (Amber)of Jacksonville, TX, Kathryn Martine (Sammy) of Tyler, TX, Sarah Stegall (Payton) of Marianna, AR and Rebecca Bagwell (David) of Madison, MS; Sisters, Donna Williamson of Cullum, LA and Mildred Clatworthy (Robin) of Marvell, Arkansas and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Crestpark of Marianna for their love, dedication and help with Warren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials can be made to Arkansas Hunter's Feeding the Hungry, Ronnie Ritter, P.O. Box 55303, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72215.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Clatworthy, Chris Clatworthy, Scott Crisp, Curtis Crisp, Steve Griffin and Holly Hickman.
Graveside services will be held Monday, September 16, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas with Brother Mike Crip officiating.
