Franklin D. Butler, 90, of Mayflower passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024. He was born April 24, 1934 in Prim, Arkansas to the late William and Dora Mae Butler.
Franklin, better known as ''Pops'', was a business owner in Mayflower, Arkansas for over fifty years. He was a certified machinist, welder and fabricator. He was the owner and operator of 'Pops Welding' which included on site and mobile welding and fabrication services. Pops was known by all as a very hard worker and a man that never sat idle.
He loved taking road trips.
He was preceded in death by his wife of seventy years, Georgianne Goodman Butler; one son, Tony Butler and two brothers, Roy Butler and Dave Butler.
He is survived by four sons, Steve (Maybell) Butler of Conway, Jerry (Gaby) Butler of Conway, Henry (Linda) Butler of Mayflower and Clyde Butler of Mayflower; 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Mayflower Cemetery in Mayflower, Arkansas.

I will always remember Pops coming in to the office with Henry, he never failed to come and give me a hug. It was our little joke, dirty old man hugs. He gave the best hugs and was always in a good mood. He always made me smile.
