Carolyn Maude Ragan, 74, of Bauxite passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 in Hot Springs. She was born July 15, 1950 in Kilgore, Texas to Ross Ragan and Vivian Fregia Ragan. She enjoyed collecting elephant figurines, going to the casino and loved animals. Carolyn was a caregiver, assisting the elderly as well as lending a hand to anyone she could help. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Royce Ragan, Jimmy Ragan and Jerry Ragan as well as other extended family members.
Survivors include a son, Jammie David (Violet); a daughter, Shara Davis (John); seven grandchildren, Candace Williams (Brandon), Mitchell Elder (Emily), Melanie Harrell, Angela Davis, Dustin Davis (Chris Krablin), Jayme Gallion (Jeff) and Holly Wallgren (Rob); twenty-one great-grandchildren, Brayden, Jaylyn and Easton Carpenter, Keith and Justin Williams, Kyle and Colton Elder, Damion West, Haley Nance, Raistlin Diebel, Caybree Coffman, Braison Stracener, Destiny, Jadyn, Jasper and Emery Davis, Kayla Phillips, Austin Phillips, Oliver Gallion, Alexis, Haley and Kenzleigh White; two great great-grandchildren, Ellis Ridgeway and Quincy West; three brothers, Leeroy Ragan, Chris Ragan and Kenny Ragan; four sisters, Brenda Henderson, Pauline Ragan, Ann Ragan and Janet Ramsey; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Trinity Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Titsworth officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brayden Carpenter, Justin Williams, Easton Carpenter, Kyle Elder, Colton Elder and Keith Williams.
Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Road, Benton, AR 72015.
