Dale Lamarr Cope, 95, of Jonesboro, AR passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born August 10, 1929 in Arrowsmith, IL to Franklin and Lizzie (Hess) Cope. Dale owned and operated an auto glass company until retirement. He served in the U.S. Army. He loved NASCAR, college basketball and the Indiana Hoosiers.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, 11 siblings and a son, Roger Dale.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Dale include his loving wife of 71 years, Ina (Lee) Cope; a son, David Cope and wife, Virginia; two daughters, Bonita Fowler and Terri Hoover and husband, Mike and one grandchild, Gregory Parrish.
At a later date, there will be a military graveside service in Vincennes, IN.
