of Marion, AR
December 16, 1960 - August 26, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sidney Ray Eudy, who was born on December 16th, 1960 in Moses Lake, Washington. He passed from this Earth on August 26th peacefully at home after a long, private and courageous battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and chronic heart issues.
Sid was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, friend and mentor. He was known for his kindness, humor, generosity and living his life on his own terms. Although he traveled the world wrestling, his heart was always back home in Arkansas. He was especially proud of his three grandchildren, Raylan Eudy, Charlotte Eudy and Frankie Eudy, who brought immense joy to their Popper's life.
Sid is survived by his wife, Sabrina; his two sons, Frank Eudy (Ashten) of Naples, FL and Gunnar Eudy (Kelli) of Marion, AR; his mother, Mary Jo Howard; his sisters, Bobbie Eudy and Margo Eudy and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Eudy; his sister, Christy Hooten and his Aunt, Joyce Goode. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
In honor of Sid's life and legacy, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a cancer research foundation or a heart health charity of your choice.
Rest in peace, Sid. Your battle is over, but your legacy will endure forever.

Sid you were a true inspiration,
And an immense wrestler and great on the mic too.
I remember you in the early 90's
I was 11 and you was in the Royal Rumble with Flair and Hogan at the end. I wanted you to win!
You were a great face and also an even better heel !
I also remember the Wrestlemania 8 press conference where you kicked off bigtime about Hogan getting the title shot instead of yourself ! Loved where you shouted " Now what you did Jack Tunney was Bogus !!!".
And also where you went on the barber shop and smashed the shop up that was brilliant heel work Sid.
I want to say thankyou Sid for making my growing up watching WWF that bit more enjoyable and happier. I was very shocked and Saddened when i learned you had sadly passed.
I will always keep the memories of you in WWF with me Sid.

RIP Sid.. Had the pleasure of watching you wrestle up here in Canada.
Sid was one of my favorite training partners. We trained together for several years during the 1980s. We reconnected in the early 2000s and trained together for a few more years. I could always count on Sid to show up and be ready to lift.
I was heartbroken at the news of your passing. You were a huge part of my childhood and one of my favourite wrestlers ever.
I feel honoured that I got to meet you a couple of years ago and have a legendary fist bump. It's a memory that I will never forget.
I send my condolences to the entire Eudy family. I hope the outpouring of love and the impact he had on the world comforts you a little.
Sid, you were unquestionably the master and ruler of the world. It's now time for you to be the master and ruler of Heaven.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to the entire Eudy family on the passing of Sid.
An incredible entertainer and well loved and respected by all.
God Bless You, Sid.
I have been a fan since 1988 after he showed up in Dallas for a match. I never met him, but he was always a "hero" to me. Now that I see what a great family man he was, he is elevated up to real immortal status for me.
Met Sid in the UK in 2019, spent around 10 minutes talking at a wrestling convention. Genuinely a lovely humble chap, rest easy.
We have great memories of Sid. Will never forget the Survivor Series in 1996 when the ref hit the three-count and Sid's hand was raised for his first World title - the roar of delight from myself and my brother! Only one highlight of many in an illustrious career.
Rest in Peace Sid and condolences to all your family and loved ones. Thank You for the memories.

Everything I’ve read about Sid Eudy has had me in awe. Stand up person. Seeing him on nitro with Seth. Seeing his interviews in recent years. Such a cool person.

I got work with Sid and be friends for over 30 years. When I owned a movie theater, we spoke almost every day and his curiosity about how the business worked led him to ask me so many questions that I believe that he could have run a small theater like man.
He introduced me to sushi, went 4-4 with four homeruns the only time we played softball together, and discussed every aspect of what it was like to stomp the terra. He'll never be duplicated.
My deepest condolences to all of Sid's family, friends, and fans. May God give you comfort through His love.
I am so sorry for your loss. Sid was a wonderful person and will be missed so much.

My first and last hero on earth. I always think of you and always will. You were bigger than the world to me and still are and wrestling had not much to do with it. I remember so many fun times all the way back to Seagoville. You are the best. I will see you when I get there. I love you Uncle Sidney
May God bless the entire Eudy family during these hard times.
Forever missed and very loved.
Sid was a good friend in high school and a good neighbor, I love the Time Sidney and his wife came to church and my nephew said look grandma Sid Vicious goes to church, Sid always brought joy to those he met.
Such a wonderful person with a heart of gold . We grew up as kids together playing tackle football and rode 4 wheelers in Twist and hung out together for so many years. Many many special memories I will cherish forever. Rest in peace dear friend until we meet again. Prayers and condolences to all family and friends. I love you and will be thought of daily.
Became a big fan of his around 1988 or 89. Met him in Augusta, ga back in 1988 or somewhere around there. I watched him walk out the civic center after the event and followed him to his car. I was just looking for him noticing me, I think, but I told him I saw him on family feud that wasnt that long ago from when I met him. His eyes kind of lit up that sparked a small conversation to a 12 or 13 year old kid. As I was in awe that I was talking to him, I just couldnt figure out how intense and the real gigantic mean guy in the building was totally opposite ouside. Couldn't have been nicer. That small 5 minute talk is a memory I will never forget. Little did I know a few years later, he would get that he would get that singles push, and I felt I was his fan before most. Super nice guy, and certainly one of my favorites of all time. He brought so much to the wrestling world, I do know that. As a fan, I'm gonna miss Big Sid Vicious. My condolences to all his family and friends.
We are so sorry for such a loss… a life ended far too soon. Our love and prayers for all the family during this time.

Family,
Thanks for sharing Sid with us. I grew up watching him on TV. I pray that you all find comfort, peace, and understanding.
Rest in Paradise, Sid
You were usually a heel in wrestling, but outside the ring - you were a gentle, loving soul. A devout family man, you always had everyone in your heart. Being accessible to your fans, it was amazing to see you talking with people. Your love of softball brought you even more friends, and I can only imagine it was quite a sight - seeing you coming to the plate. That ball knew it was going to get a whooping.
You maximized your time on this Earth, and many others are better people because of you. Rest in Paradise always, Sid. Much love to you and your family. Bless your precious soul

I watched Sid wrestle for years growing up in the '90s. I was fortunate enough to see him win the world championship in-person at Madison Square Garden in 1996. The fans were so loud in support of him, especially when he won at the end of the night. Though I didn't get the chance to meet him personally, I always enjoyed watching him on television. He was very entertaining, and he had a lot of personality. Thanks for all the great memories! Condolences to all of his family and friends.
I've been a fan of wrestling for over 20 years and I am always heartbroken about all the wrestlers I grew up watching as a kid and being a famous and successful in ring performer from the state of Arkansas, it makes me more proud to be a Arkansan. Sid you are the man. Thank you for the memories and thank you for the sacrifices you made in order for you to perform for the sport of professional wrestling. We love you we miss you and you and your family will be forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace and we will see you again.

So very thankful that I was around in the era that Sid was! What an outstanding wrestler and a sweet man! Blessings to his family! Gone but never forgotten!
Sid use to come over and hangout at my Moms next door neighbor (The Greenes) His best friend and wrestling buddy, Byron Greene was a dear friend of mine. He was always so nice to us. One time he gave my Mom an autograph for a kid that was a HUGE wrestling fan. After Byron passed, he continued to make visits to the family. He would always wave and say hello. I would see him from time to time around town and he always spoke. I know he is upstairs with many people that he loved and missed. RIP Sid
We grew up as neighbors, when we got older, we went our separate ways. So much time has passed, and our memories will forever last. We shot hoops from your back door when we grew up on Johnson dr. You, Mitchell & my self surely did thrive.

Sid would always come in the Marion Walmart and take time out to just talk to people and encourage kids,,,,The world could use more like Sid
I remember when Sid and his family lived on my street on Lois Marie Cv in West Memphis. Didn't talk much but always waved driving by. He was a mountain of a man and a great performer and future WWE Hall of Famer. Prayers and condolences to his family. RIP Big Guy
I remember when I was about 5 or 6evry time me and my grandp would run into him at a store he’d buy me a candy bar he was always super friendly
So very sorry.
I watched Sid every time he wrestled and enjoyed watching him I was a great fan of him I wish I could have met him
When Sid and his wife came in Kroger to shop, He always took time to acknowledge many of his wrestling fans. One day there were two young boys afraid to speak with him. Sid got down on one knee and shook hands with each of them. He was so sweet to the boys. I'm sure it's a day they will never forget. Sid will surely be missed by many.
I got to meet a time or two after my mom who used to run The Chicken Coop, had a worker name Margo. I heard his name mentioned and after meeting years later after seeing him on Memphis wrestling, I was astonished by his size. He was calm, cool and really friendly thar didn't mind to talk to fans or anyone in general. He will be misses, my heart goes to his entire family.
