Barry Lynn Hale, 70, of Jonesboro passed away on August 23, 2024 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born in Roanoke, VA on August 23, 1954 to Wallace and Lorraine Hale. Barry was a steel worker, he loved playing golf and spending time with his friends and family.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steve Hale and sister-in-law, Sandy Hale.
Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 51 years, Phyllis Hale; brother, Roger Hale; sister, Mitzi (John) Bredehoft; 9 nieces and nephews; 10 great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington, Jonesboro, with Mike Webb officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service.

Dear Phyllis and Family, You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have so many happy memories of Barry and you. I first met you two in 1982. It's hard to believe how the time has past. We had such fun times when I lived in Nebraska and after I moved back home to Colorado. As time goes on, your sorrow will ease, and you will be able to cherish all the memories you have from this life. Barry is now in the hands of the Lord.
