Ricky James Rand, age 64, of Lake City, AR went into the Lord's and his Daddy's hands on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 8:51p.m. He was born in Helena, AR on August 30, 1959 to Robert and Ruthie Rand. Kid Rick, as he was affectionately known, loved riding the levee, fishing and taking his boat down to the river. Every Sunday he could be found at George Ray's Drag Strip. He loved crawfish, throwing darts, playing horseshoes and was a pool shark. He loved his Razorbacks and watching wrestling. He will be remembered as a good man who loved the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his daddy, Robert Rand.
He is survived by his loving momma, Ruthie Rand of Lake City; his daughter, Courtney (Anthony) Reece of Black Oak; son, Casey Rand of the home; sisters, Barbara Rand of Lake City and Renee Gamble of Benton; grandkids, Hunter Rand of Jonesboro, Trever Mangrum of Paragould, Lexie Rand of Black Oak, Casen, Talen and Jaelyn Rand of the home; nephew, Dennis (Lyndsey) Gomez of Brookland; nieces, Holly and Jamie Gamble of Benton; 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew; 2 great-great nephews and 3 great-great nieces; several uncles, aunts, cousins and so many friends and family.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 2pm at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue, Jonesboro.
Visitation will precede the service beginning at 1pm.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Anthony Reece, Hunter Rand, Trever Mangrum, Owen Slater, Michael Pyburn and Brian Gamble. Honorary pallbearers will be James Timms, #1 Dennis Gomez, Fred Mize, Vic Qualls, Smug Richardson, Brad Hall, Terry Hood, Jon Milligan, Sid Hawkins, Mark Moneymaker and Mike Stayton.

Courtney, I am so sorry for the passing of your daddy. I know he meant the world to you. He was a good man.
He loved my brother at one time and he helped take care of and raise my nephew. We will always remember his kindness and gratitude. We love you.
He was a really good guy always polite didn't where you was at if he knew you he'd welcome you. he truly will be missed
