Erin Christina Tetrick passed away August 20, 2024. She was born February 3, 1980 in Branson, Missouri to Mark and Sue Thompson Tetrick Fry. She is a graduate of Mountain Home High School Class of 1998 and played clarinet for the band. She enjoyed creative art and music and was teaching herself to play violin. Domino games were a favorite as well. A huge achievement for her was overcoming a long history of drug addiction and her family was so proud of her. She also fought a brief but very brave battle with colon cancer. During her lifetime, she was preceded in death by paternal great-great grandparents, Walter and Flossie Collins; maternal great-grandparents, Florene and Jim Hightower; maternal great-grandmother, Elmie Thompson; paternal great-grandparents, Jim and Ina Bird; paternal great-grandmother, Valley Tetrick; maternal grandparents, Bill and Bonnie Thompson and infant cousin, Mary Afton Jeckstadt. She is survived by her parents, Mark (Brenda) Tetrick, Sue (Chris) Fry; sister, Cheryl (Justin) Lynne; brother, Brandon (Courtney) Tetrick; step-siblings, Christopher Jr. (Samantha) Fry, Brooke (Anthony) Maggiore, Jennifer (Patrick) Bently, Crystal Fuller; paternal grandparents, Ferd and Nita Tetrick; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, one great-niece and her best friend since 6th grade, Kristin Speer.
Erin was one of the strongest people I knew. She lived her life, she learned lessons, she excelled. She was incredibly talented not only with music but with art. I wish I had been blessed with more time with her or even the chance to say goodnight, but not goodbye.
Sue and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter. Sending real prayers and virtual hugs!
I just found out girl! We have had some hurddles. Lol! But this saddens me so much, I had no idea. But I love you, girl, I love you, and would have never changed a thing. I only have fond memories of Erin! From the leather jacket club in 6th grade and our made up skits that she, Kristen, and I forced her family to watch (McErn here!) to her never missing an opportunity to tell someone I love you in our last text when I checked on her after a hospital stay a few years back, the memories still make me smile. She was a gift to us all. Blessings and peace!
