Jeffery Lynn ''Jeff'' McDoniel, 56, of Griffithville, completed his earthly journey on Monday morning, August 19, 2024, at his home with his wife by his side. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 18, 1968, and came to live with his parents, Emmitt H. Jr and Joyce Jane Sherrill McDoniel on the farm in Griffithville, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Jeff learned many things from his parents that he never wondered very far from. Jeff was raised by parents who knew what was important and instilled those values in him as he grew up and continued to share those with his family. He learned from the very beginning that family was most important. He also learned how to work to provide for his family by working along side his mom and dad. Farming became his everything because family has always worked the family and continues to do so today.

Dear Amanda,
I am writing to express my deepest condolences to you and your family on the loss of your beloved husband, Jeff. My heart goes out to you during this incredibly difficult time.
Jeff was an exceptional individual, and his passing leaves a tremendous void in the lives of everyone who knew him. As a dedicated farmer, he worked tirelessly to provide for his community, and his commitment to his craft was truly admirable. But more than that, he was a devoted family man and friend when I was farming and always putting the needs of those he loved above his own.
Please know that you are not alone in your grief. You have the support and love of your family, friends, and community, who will be there to comfort and uplift you in the days ahead.
If there is anything I can do to support you, please don't hesitate to reach out. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
With heartfelt sympathy,
David McIntosh
Amanda and family: Ron and I are sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. Prayers for comfort and for strength.
Amanda and family ! Words of comfort are so hard to express at a time like this ! Your hearts are broken and there are not enough “ I’m sorrys” to ease your pain at this time - just know that many prayers are being lifted up for you and God hears each and every one of them ! My friendship with Jeff began the day that Joyce and Junior brought that little bundle of joy home from the hospital ! I was one of the first people that got to hold him and my love for Jeff just grew stronger with each passing year ! There was never a child loved more by his parents than Jeff McDoniel was. Jeff was raised in a strong Christian family and was taught to love and respect others and he was also taught a strong work ethic— many hours sitting on a tractor planting or a combine harvesting the crops! Jeff loved his family beyond words and was so proud of each one of them- Amanda, you were his ROCK and were right beside him all the way ! God bless you today, tomorrow and always and hold on to the good memories ! Our deep love , Jackie & Mike
