Chester Lee Allen ''Toby'' Donley, age 77, of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, August 18th, 2024 at Baptist Health in Conway, Arkansas. He was born in Dermott, Arkansas on February 25th, 1947 to Chester Donley and Dorothy Mary Clark Donley. He lived in McGehee until he moved to Little Rock in 1972.
Toby was an insurance salesman for 30 years. After retirement he moved on to real estate and worked for 15 years until his health began to fail. He loved being on his farm and tending to the cows for 29 years. For health reasons, he could no longer tend to the cattle but loved watching out the window while Becky cared for the farm. Toby was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed playing receptionist at his wife's tax office. Her clients will greatly miss seeing him sitting at the front desk greeting them. Toby was very proud of his daughter, Cynthia; grandkids, Jen and Hunter; niece, Christy and nephew, Rick.
Toby is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Dorothy Donley; his grandparents; one sister, Nobia Terrese and brother, Perry Wayne.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Rebecca Stalter ''Becky'' Donley; daughter, Cynthia Donley; granddaughter, Jennifer Howard (Cody); grandson, Hunter Cole; sister-in-law, Carol Duncan; nephew, Ricky Sharon Cossey; niece, Christy Ward (Chris); sister, Kim Coburn and many extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.
Graveside services for Toby will be 2:00 PM Thursday, August 22nd, 2024 at Quitman City Cemetery in Quitman, Arkansas with Bro. Cairl Baysinger officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 21st, 2024 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas. Burial will follow the graveside service.

Our deepest heartfelt condolences and prayers for all the family and friends. Toby was such a wonderful, joyful person. Always ready and willing to help anyone at anytime. He was always polite, respectful, and had a smile on his face. One of the most upbeat people I have ever missed. Wonderful neighbo,r and treated Bubba and I so kindly. He will be greatly missed. We will certainly miss him in our little community and his little trips to the shop!

Becky I'm so sorry, You and Toby had a great love story, 47 years and you still liked each other. He's a great loss, but I pray that you can find comfort in knowing that the moment he shut his eyes here, he opened them to see the face of Jesus, and he is now pain and sickness free.
