of Clarksville, AR
December 31, 1970 - July 9, 2024
Jeffery Don Acord went home to be with our lord on July 9, 2024, at the age of 53. Jeffery was born December 31, 1970, to Don and Linda Acord in Ozark, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don Acord; his paternal grandparents, Garland and Crystal Acord of Hartman; and his maternal grandparents, Bill and Emma Freeman of Clarksville.
Jeffery is survived by his son, Cain Acord of Ozark; his mother, Linda Acord of Clarksville; his brother Chadd Acord and wife Lindsey of Clarksville; Neice Brittani Swicegood, husband Tal and children Trad and Roman of Russellville; nephew Bode Acord of Clarksville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Jeffery was a 1989 graduate of Clarksville High School. He attended North Ark, Arkansas Tech University, and University of the Ozarks where he developed a deep love of history. He loved sports, hunting, and fishing and was a loyal Florida State Fan.
Jeffery's greatest gift was how he loved his family and close friends. His commitment to them was always his driving force. His greatest desire now would be that you would become close friends with the Jesus that became his best friend.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bode Acord, Josh Dan, Brett Freeman, Brad Dodge, Jimmy Jack Butler, and Jody Humphrey.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jeff Acord Memorial Fund at Christian Community Church, P.O. Box 73 Clarksville, Arkansas 72830
