Ed Rudd, age 88, of Harrison, passed away on August 7, 2024, at Hillcrest Home. He was born October 10, 1935, to Jewel and Nila (Norris) Rudd in Green Forest, Arkansas.

Ed enjoyed reading books, fishing, gardening, playing guitar, and most of all playing with grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Nila Rudd; wife, Pauline (Crow) Rudd; daughter, Diane Cone and grandson, William Rudd.

Ed is survived by his son, William Rudd and wife, Sondra of Green Forest, Arkansas; son-in-law, Ishmal Cone of Harrison; granddaughters, Deadra Bright and husband, David of Marble Falls; grandson, Michael Cone and wife, Rachel, Ashley Gwinet and husband, Chris of Harrison; brother, Robert and Joyce Rudd of Green Forest; twelve great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends that will miss him.


The funeral service was on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Reverend David Bright officiating.

Visitation was on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

The interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were the family.
