Wanda Jean Ramsey, 76, of Forrest City, Arkansas passed away on August 6, 2024 at her home peacefully.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, AR from 10:00 A.M.-11 A.M. with funeral to be held following the visitation at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Marianna Memorial Park Cemetery in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Anthony Kennedy officiating.
Wanda Jean Ramsey was born in Marianna, Arkansas to Herman Eugene Perry and Alice Marie Elizabeth Roy on December 13, 1947. She married Lavoy Ramsey on April 30, 1981. She was a housewife. She attended Forrest City Church of God.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Donny Perry; two sisters, Linda Gail Swan and Patti Michelle Novotney and one daughter, Melissia Thigpan, and one grandson, Chris Thigpan.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Lavoy Ramsey; three sons, Carl Andrew (Leticia) Martin, Franklin Allen (Cindy) Westbrook, Anthony Ramsey; one son-in-law, Arnold Thigpan; two daughters, Vickey (Dwight) Barber, Sarah (Robert) Lindsey; three sisters, Sue (Max) Hughes, Mary (Brian) Lewandowski, Karen Baugus; three brothers, Charles L. (Julie) Perry, Michael (Fenita) Coulombe, and Kevin Coulombe; fourteen grandchildren, Amber lane, Tyler Martin, Stephen Martin, Candace Westbrook, Emma Westbrook, Olivia Westbrook, Roger Fletcher, Brian Westbrook, Anna Hogan, Dwight Barber, Kaitlin Thigpan, Jacob Thurmond, Joyce Thurmond and Dalton Lindsey; and a host of great-grandchildren; Nieces; nephews other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Barber II, Roger Fletcher, Brian Westbrook, Robert Hughes, Stephen Martin and Jacob Thurmond.
