Leona Marie Gore Millican Davis was born in Kentucky on April 3, 1942. She passed away peacefully on August, 4, 2024. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church of Memphis, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallice Davis; her parents, John T. Gore and Nora Reine Reno Parker Sides; her siblings, Calvin T. Gore, Billy Gore, Jessie Sommmerville, Judy Moses and Alma Tharnish and her great granddaughter, Madison Murphy.
She is survived by her sisters, Ginger Hall, Shirley Kinseder, Helen Stoots, Susie Packett and Pat Wallace and her brothers, Henry Gore and John Gore Jr. She is also survived by her children, Raymond Davis, Patricia Nabors, Liz Davis, Kathy Hurley, Vickie Roman, James Millican and Clint Joyner. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
The viewing will be at 9:30am and funeral to follow at 10:00am will be at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. The graveside ceremony will take place at the Helen Crigger Cemetery in Munford, TN.

Dear marie, i dint know you that well but i knew the whole family basically and have for along time. And you will be missed and loved forever. Rest in peace marie!! Im sending my thoughts and prayers to the family!!! I love yall and I’m here if you need me!! I’m sorry I’m gonna be at work tomorrow so i can’t come to the funeral services wished i could!!
I have so many memories of you and I from years past… You and I staying at the hospital with grandpa was my favorite memory he enjoyed aggravating us, and we just seem to have fun with it. You will be loved and missed by many! Rest In Peace Aunt Marie
