Bonita ''Diane'' Mitchell, 62, a resident of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024 in Fort Smith. Diane was born in Clarksville on April 24, 1962 to John and Billie (Wages) Arthur. She was known for her love for beautiful things and her self-proclaimed nickname of ''Princess Di.'' Diane had a loving and caring nature that will forever be remembered by her family and friends that loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father in-law, Denny Mitchell.
Diane leaves many loved ones to cherish her memories including her loving husband of 44 years, Wesley Mitchell; her two sons, Nick and wife, Shelle of Springdale and Benjamin ''Alex'' Mitchell of Fayetteville; her parents, John and Billie Arthur; her sister, Tara Malone and husband, Jack of Clarksville; her brother, J Arthur and wife, Brittney of Scranton; brother in-law, Mike Mitchell and wife, Nancy of Conway; her mother in-law, Alice Mitchell of Searcy; two sisters in-law, Judy White and husband, Bill of Hot Springs and Donna Hendershot and husband, Charlie of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Krista Robertson, Megan Mitchell and Dardyn Mitchell; along with numerous nieces and nephews and many good friends.
A memorial service for Diane will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2024 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Diane's family has asked that any memorial contributions or donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.

she was one of my favorite nurses that i worked with at russellville nursing and rehab. she was a great nurse and loved her residents and aides like family. she will be greatly missed by all. love you
I worked with "Precious Princess" for a number of years at Clarksville Convalescent Home. Her love and caring of others came natural to her. She definitely had a nurse's heart. May God be with her family at this painful time.
