R.I.p.
Leon and I worked together at the Crittenden County Sheriff's Department for many years. He was an awesome friend and co-worker. We had sooooo many laughs together working here in the jail. Leon was hilarious. I will will never forget our times in booking with Leon Officer Long, Officer Phelix, Officer Campbell, Officer Weatherspoon and myself. These were the most hilarious times although we worked out butts off, Leon made the time go by fast being silly. When he left the County, I ran into him a few times at East Junior High and he told me that he would keep an eye on my daughter for me. The students loved him. He was still that same ole hilarious Leon to me. Leon will truly be missed by us. My prayers are with his family and friends. May God God give you strength, peace and comfort during this time. Love Chief Bonner and the entire Crittenden County Detention Staff/Sheriff Department

To Kathy and the girls and all of his family, Craig and I are fortunate to have lived next door to you and your family for years. Leon was a kind and loving man. There are so many things about him that I don't think I could list all of them. If Craig was out of town, he always came to pick up our mail to save it for us. He did so many little things for us, that at the time seemed so insignificant, but now when I look back, they were so important. We loved him and his family and he is going to be greatly missed by us.
Kathy, Savannah and Haley,
I am so sorry for the lost of your husband and Dad. We will always remember memories that we have of him. Prayers for the family.
