Shirley Marie Griggs ran across Heaven's Pearly Gate Finish Line July 25, 2024 at 5:20 am into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. She was greeted with open arms by her parents, Horace & Lona Davidson and with hugs from great grand-daughter, Katarina Platt. She will be waiting in Heaven cheering on her compassionate husband, Sherman Griggs of West Memphis, AR; daughter, Cindy and Ricky Platt of Proctor, AR; sons, Keith and Tammy Griggs of Lakeland, TN, Kevin and Melissa Griggs of West Memphis, AR, Bryan Griggs of Marion, AR and her 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Shirley, also known as Nannie, was a prayer warrior and prayed daily for all her family including her sister, Doris Collins of Dyer, TN and her brothers, Paul and Priscilla Davidson of Dyer, TN and Wayne and Sandra Davidson of Memphis, TN. Mom was loved deeply by all of her family and will be missed greatly.

We had the pleasure of knowing and loving Mrs Shirley Griggs for many years I'm very sorry for for all her family and friends she will surely be missed. Keith,Kevin,Brian,and Cindy our hearts go out to y'all we are praying for you all
I don’t remember not knowing the Griggs and Davidson families. Good friends for many years. Wr have shared many great times in church and in fellowship. We are praying for all of you.

My precious nanny. I had the privilege and honor of being her youngest granddaughter. What a treasure, gift and blessing to have been loved and prayed for by her. She worked hard to earn this reward and lived the Acts 2:38 message; holy and right. She is rejoicing with heavens angels now. Until I see you again…
I loved Mom Griggs. My sister was her daughter in law . I’ve known her for 35 years and she’s always treated me like family. Prayers for the family for strength and comfort. She’s reached the place she’s strived for so many years. Run on Mom Griggs. We’ll see you soon.
