Janyce Grace Cobb age 85 passed away July 12, 2024. She was born September 3, 1938, to Frederick William and Bessie Orlena (Roberts) Mahler in Burlington, Arkansas.
Jan was very talented and anything she set her mind to do she would accomplish such as baking and decorating wedding and birthday cakes for all the people in the community. She did quilting, embroidery, crocheting, sewing, and baby quilts. Jan was a great resource for the community. She planned family and school reunions. Jan thoroughly enjoyed bottle-feeding calves and life on the farm. She liked hunting for Morel Mushrooms and was an excellent cook. Most of all she loved her family and friends.
Janyce is preceded in death by her parents, husband, J. R. Cobb, brother, Rick Mahler, sister, Mary Lou Mahler Ashley, step-brothers, Tommy Roberts and Carl Roberts, Jr., step-mother, Jude Mahler.
Janyce is survived by her children, daughter, Brenda Cobb of Omaha Arkansas, son, Brent Cobb of Omaha, Arkansas, daughter, Lisa Arnold and (David) of Omaha, Arkansas, step-sisters, Wanda Quick of Oklahoma, Donna Nelson of California, and Judy Ann Lawson, Arkansas, step-brother, Mike Roberts of Omaha, Arkansas, long time special friend Jake Arnold of Harrison, Arkansas, 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and a whole host of family and friends that will miss her.

I always love to hear you talk about your mama. I wish I could have met her, and spent time with her. I know she had to be a special lady.
I love how your eyes would light up every time you would tell me about her.
You will be in my prayers.
I enjoyed caring for you mom at the nursing home. She was always full of information. And a great listener
