James Willis Roberts, Jr., 76, of Magazine, Arkansas passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 in Magazine. He was born on October 11, 1947 in Seattle, Washington to his parents, James Willis and Betty Jean Roberts.
During his working years James worked as an auto and motorcycle mechanic. At a young age he took an interest into go cart and dirt bike racing and he could always be found tinkering with something.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Linda Rae Roberts and one step son, Shea Edmundson.
He is survived by his wife of over 43 years, Kathy (Hobbs) Roberts of Magazine; one daughter, Sara Kathryn Royster and husband, Brad of Adrian, Missouri; one step son, Eric Edmundson and wife, Sharon of Elsmore, Kansas and one grandson, Landon Royster of Adrian, Missouri.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Jim was extremely knowledgeable about a great many subjects; he was very quick and very funny and wouldn't stand for any nonsense. A great many people are going to be sorely missing his presence. Rest easy brother.
