Condolences for the family . A good man and a man of God. Rest in peace my fellow brother in arms, my brother in Christ. Hope to see you on the other side. sir.
I spent many hours engaged in conversations with Ed while pulled up beside each other, windows down, on mc 5036 where we both had property. We talked about growing turnips, sheet rock, a huge old mule he kept there, catfish, chucking hand grenades, and the Lord. Ed knew the Lord and wanted everyone else to, also. Ed was what you call “a good man”. Sometimes the phone would ring and there would be a long silence and I would have to ask, “Ed, is that you” We would talk for a while and he never failed to slip the gospel into the conversation.
Uncle Ed was a great man and a Godly man. He will be missed by many. My condolences
