Edward Lee Sanderlin, age 70, of Mosby Spur, Arkansas passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, June 29, 2024. He was born on Saturday, September 5, 1953 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late Roy Lee Sanderlin and Mary Sanderlin. Edward was a farmer his whole life and enjoyed reading about History.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cornelia Sanderlin; two sons, Eric Lee Sanderlin of Mosby Spur, Arkansas and David Joseph Sanderlin of Pocahontas, Arkansas; two daughters, Christina Josephine Sanderlin of Mosby Spur, Arkansas and Bridget Caroline Fonder (Paul) of Milbank, South Dakota; two grandchildren, Emily Osbourne and Eli Sanderlin; seven sisters, Julie Thacker, Jamie Parks, Cindy Vincent, Kitty Lewis, Betty Redwine, Jeanie Sanderlin and Carol Wilson and one brother, John Sanderlin.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee Sanderlin and Mary Sanderlin; daughter, Stephanie Sanderlin and sister, Ann Sanderlin.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Gattas Jr., Eric Sanderlin, David Sanderlin, Paul Fonder, Jesse Blankenship, Bryan Elmore, Kaleb Hall and Timothy Osborn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Gattas, Tommy Gattas, George Williamson, Marcel Hanzlik, David Parks, Hans Ott, Lawrence Smith and Johnny Hall, III.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Edward Lee Sanderlin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Helena, Arkansas. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Rosary Service at 10:30 a.m., Father Gilbert Tairo will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Helena, Arkansas.

Jamie, please accept my sincere condolences to you and all your sisters and brother and families on the death of such a sweet man! Pat told me of his death on the 3rd. I had just broken my arm the day before, so I wasn’t able to come to his funeral. I would have loved seeing everyone, I just wish it wasn’t because of such a sad moment. Please know that I am so very sorry for your loss, and my prayers are with each of you! Lots of love!!
