Chris Kocka

of Norfork, AR

September 9, 1960 - June 29, 2024

Mr. Chris Allen Kocka of Norfork, passed early in the morning of June 29, 2024. He was born September 9th, 1960 in Berwyn, Illinois to Terry Kalas and Fred Kocka.

In 1987, Chris moved to Baxter County with his wife, Ann. He worked for Meyers Roofing Company from 1988 to 2002, until he became disabled.

When he wasn't working, he enjoyed being at the lake, camping or down at the creek arrowhead hunting. If he wasn't outdoors you could find him in his man-cave, rocking out and doing something artsy.

Chris enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and going to their sporting events. In the last couple years of his life, Chris grew a relationship with God and found himself a church that he loved.

He is survived by his wife, Ann and 3 children, Craig (Jessica) Kocka, Brian (Ayala) Kocka and Brittany Kocka. He leaves behind 4 grandchildren who loved him dearly, Isaac, Everly, Brooklyn and Adrian. Also surviving him are his sister, Laura Johnson; his two nieces, Lea and Jessica and nephew, Clayton.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Terry Kalas; father, Fred Kocka; son, Patrick Smith and brother-in-law, Wesley Johnson.

His services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.

Laura, you are in my heart and prayers. First your Wesley and now your father. Jesus, Lord, wrap your loving arms of comfort around; and. hold Laura and her family up as only you have the power to do. Bless them with …
