Daniel Lee Gibson, 59, of Paragould passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024. He was born in Torrence, CA on November 7, 1964 to Joe Turner and Jessie Lee Gibson. Daniel was a good hearted people person who worked for many years as a Security Guard. He enjoyed watching sports, especially his favorite teams: the Razorbacks and Cardinals. Daniel also liked to watch pro wrestling and being a part of a pool league. Daniel is survived by his sons, Daniel Gibson (Elida), Chance Gibson, Dustin Gibson (Jalen) and John Paul Ambs (Nique); daughter, Chelsea Shields and Jessica Gibson; grandchildren, Jonathon, Mason, Eliana, Chloe, Renley, Daxton, Chance Jr, Melody, Nicolas, Amelia, Daniel and Aria; brothers, Bruce Gibson (Shayla), Larry George and TJ Yates and sisters, Diana McCullar (Al) and Patricia Smith (Steven). He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Jo Gibson. A visitation will be held at Roller-Swift Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with the funeral service following at 12:00 pm. Danny and I spent a lot of years hanging out as teenagers. We went to church together, we went to school together, and ran around together on the weekends. We both had the same weird sense of humor. I really hate this. You'll be missed brother.

To all the family of Daniel, I always called him Danny I'm so sorry I was with Danny for short time but even tho it didn't work out I saw him couple months ago at the dollar general store his aid was with him and he hugged me and he say he was glad I was doing ok and he said he was good but when God calls God calls bless all of y'all best pool player I ever knew but I'm glad I knew him and for the time I was with him and I'm so sorry that he passed away prayers to Jessica and her husband and all of his children and grandchildren and I know Gizmo his dog will miss him to his faithful dog and little buddy and it's so sad prayers to to all
