Ray Cain, 100, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at his home in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas. He was born on Tuesday, August 28, 1923 in Kahoka, Arkansas, son of Paul Cain and Costa Tuttle Cain.

He was married to Margaret Daum Cain, raising four sons together.

Ray was a veteran in the United States Army. He retired from Armco Steel as a crane operator for thirty-two years and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Ray enjoyed gardening.

Ray is survived by his son, Scott Cain; four grandchildren, Stephanie Cain, Jonathon Cain, Joshua Cain and Nathan Cain and was expecting his first great grandchild at the end of June.

Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Daum Cain; sons, Larry Ray Cain, Stephen Hale Cain and Randall Cain; Five brothers and three sisters.

Visitation Service for Mr. Ray Cain will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Pleasant Grove, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Marcus Logan, Jamie Vickers, Jason Younger, Michael Clark, Brandon Hall and Michael Wilson

I just learned of this today. My condolences to Scott and all the grandchildren. He had a good long life and is off to a new adventure.
