Edwynne, We have so many lifelong connections. Many made before I was even born. Seeing pictures of your Dad and my Dad as adolescents was priceless (thank you Little Camille). Thoughts of you reconnecting with Curtis with a whole healthy body warmed my heart. Love to your precious loved ones who will feel the loss most.

Oh no, She was my absolute favorite teacher at Marvell Academy, I remember always reading a book for 15- 30 minutes before class. She always had a smile on her face and full of positivity. She lit up any room she walked into.. she will be greatly missed. Her family is in my prayers. I am terribly sorry for your loss.

She was such a special teacher and friend to me through my high school years at MA. I have so many fond memories of her that I often recall with a smile. I was sitting at her desk wearing her glasses before class started one day. She walked in on me imitating her, so she let me teach class for a bit! Descanse en paz, Senora Edwynne, mi profesora favorita.

Words cannot express the hole she has left. Being new in town just a few short years ago, she wrapped her arms around me and took me into her life and the community. My granddaughter also loved her and couldn’t wait to see her at the library each visit she made. She was a bright light and will truly be missed.

Mrs. Edwynne was my homeroom teacher in 6th grade. She was always so positive and cheerful. She encouraged us to always have a book to read! It was a treat to have her again for English and Spanish class in high school. She had the ability to brighten anyone’s day! She was a lovely woman!

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For though from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.

Rest easy, Edwynne. Your gentle kindnesses are dear to my heart.

To those left behind, may Edwynne’s memory be a blessing.
