James Blanchard Alpuente Jr., 78, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 in Marion, Arkansas.
He was born on October 2, 1945 to Mr. James Blanchard Alpuente Sr. and Mrs. Eva Tindle Alpuente in El Dorado, Arkansas.
James was a member of St. Michael's Church, Knights of Columbus, Emmaus, Men's Prayer Group and Formerly of Boy Scouts of America. His hobbies include bowling, watching golf and other sports. He also enjoyed watching EWTN, going on vacations and camping with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of over 58 years, Mrs. Edna Mae Westbrook Alpuente and Son, James Thomas Alpuente (Karen).
James was preceded in death by his Parents; sons, Charles Edward Alpuente, Keith Patrick Alpuente, Daniel Stephan Alpuente and sister, Claire Alpuente Stanley.
Butch and I would spend afternoons throwing baseballs from his front yard to my back yard to &fro until we wore out
Jim was a dear friend & a true man of God. His Faith was an example to many. I was privileged to know Jim for over 25 years through a Men's Prayer Group, Emmaus.
God rest his soul.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Alpuente family during this very difficult time.
