Gail Irene Shearing, a beloved mother, grandmother and vibrant member of her community, passed away on June 5, 2024 at the age of 64. Gail was born on September 20, 1959 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and most recently resided in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Gail's favorite pastimes brought joy to her life. She found great pleasure in playing board games and cards, singing karaoke and indulging in some retail therapy. However, nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her family and friends and her adored grandchildren.
Gail is survived by her loving daughter, Ashley Santoro and her caring son, Austin Hazewinkel; four sisters, Linda, Jean, Susan and Donna and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a legacy in her cherished grandchildren, Logan, Natalie and Brayden, who held a special place in her heart.
Known for her bubbly personality and heart of gold, Gail will be remembered for her loving nature and her ability to bring a smile to anyone's face. Her warm spirit touched the lives of those around her and she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In memory of Gail Irene Shearing, a private ceremony will be held to honor her life and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. May she find eternal peace and continue to watch over her loved ones from above

I have known Gail over 20 years. We worked together and had fun while at McDonald's back in the day. She was a loving mother and a great friend. She will be missed.
