Mary Lucille (Anhalt) Appleton, 88, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 in Booneville, Arkansas. She was born on May 23, 1936 in Paris to her parents, Joe and Sophie (Dulmer) Anhalt.
Mary was retired, having worked many places over her career, but most recently she had worked for Triple R Freight in Paris. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris and loved to go to and host her own yard sales and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Wayne Appleton; two sisters, Alice Cooper and Lillian Reeves and three brothers, Leo Anhalt, Walter Anhalt and Eugene Anhalt.
She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Dawn Ezell and husband, Jerry of Subiaco and Robin Lee Farmer and husband, Boyd of Paris; one son, Nicky Don Mings and wife, Julia of Paris; three step-sons, Gary Appleton, Keith Appleton and Randy Appleton; one sister, Anita Core of Farmington; 11 grandchildren, Terra Reames, Bianka Pfeiffer, Nickole Shelton, Brooke Mings, Hailey Mings, Levi Farmer, Boydie Farmer, Angel Workman, Connor Appleton, McKenzie Appleton and Cara Miranda and 18 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m., with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
The memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris with burial of cremated remains to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Aunt Mary, you are a part of my earliest memories and I will cherish them for the rest of my life…. Our “CAN” vacation we had with Alice and Kim is one of the funniest and most fun trips of my life and we did it picking up cans on our evening walks! I still laugh just thinking about it and I repeat the story to however will listen.. goes to prove, it’s not money that makes you happy!! When I leave this earth someday, you will be one of the first I will be looking for.. rest well my sweet precious Aunt Mary.. my love is always yours.. Valerie
