Wanda Lou Lindsey

of Heber Springs, AR

September 28, 1928 - June 3, 2024

Wanda Fuller Lindsey, 95, was born and raised in Wooster, Arkansas on September 28, 1928 to the late Russell Fuller and Beulah Glover Fuller. She moved to Heber Springs later in life. Wanda retired from the Department of Finance and Administration after many years as bookkeeper. She also worked as a powder dipper at the Jacksonville War plants during World War II. She was a member of Wooster First Baptist Church. Wanda was a loving homemaker, always taking care of her husband and children. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, camping on the Buffalo River, reading and taking care of all the small animals she rescued and cared for. Wanda volunteered at the Senior Center and Conway Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack W. Lindsey Sr.; daughter, Deborah Gail Stephens and two sisters, Mary Geraldine Stevens and Floetta Reynolds Miller.

Wanda is survived by her son, Jack (Jane) Wesley Lindsey Jr.; son-in-law, Bennie Stephens; four grandsons; several great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lance Lindsey, Hayden Lindsey, Ken Lindsey, Brett Stephens, Miles Stephens and Shawn Stephens.

Funeral Service will be 11:00AM on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Wooster First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be one hour prior at 10:00AM at Wooster First Baptist Church.
The burial will be at Pearson Cemetery in Wooster, AR.
