Ann Casteel Sorrells, 80, of Forrest City, Arkansas passed away peacefully Saturday, June 1, 2024. She was born August 30, 1943 to Lewis Casteel and Betty Henley Casteel in LaGrange, Arkansas.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Doyle (Jeffery) of Forrest City, Arkansas, Annette Gruby (Keith) of West Memphis, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Tyler Sorrells, Kali Doyle, Presley Doyle and two great-grandchildren, Asher Doyle, Sylas Doyle; one brother, Austin Casteel (Joyce); one sister, Betty Griffin; three sisters-in-law, Peggy Casteel, Winsel Harper and Cathy Casteel and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jackie Sorrells; three brothers, Vernon Casteel, Wayne Casteel and Larry Casteel and one brother-in-law, Johnny Griffin.

Mrs. Ann loved crossword puzzles and watching Family Feud with Steve Harvey. She wrote poetry. She was a retired LPN.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Doyle, Tyler Sorrells, Keith Gruby, Christian Smith, Freddy Houston and Jack McNair.

Graveside services will be held at Loughridge Cemetery in Wynne, Arkansas at 2:30 P.M. on Friday, June 7, 2024 with Brother Zach Ebarb officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas.

I have wonderful memories of Ann and Jackie. I was their pastor for almost 13 years. I always enjoyed visiting in their home. Sweet fellowship. They both were faithful church members. God bless you Kim and Annette and your families love you both.
