Dorothy Fay (Hall) Fielder, age 87, of Nashville, TN transitioned from her earthly home to her forever home on May 13, 2024. She was born in Keiser, AR on January 27, 1937, to Theodore and Vesta (Price) Hall. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (affectionately known as "MawMaw Dorothy") and friend.

She attended Harding College in Searcy, AR for one year and returned to work in Osceola, AR. She was married to Jim Fielder in 1956 and spent many years assisting him in the operation of their pharmacy. She was a devoted caregiver to Jim in his final years and in her later years, became an avid college football fan (always ready to tell you to switch the TV to either ESPN or the SEC Network). She made dear friends throughout her life, including many in her final years at Harmony in Brentwood, TN.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jim Fielder. She is survived by her four children, Kim (Art) Woods of Nashville, TN, Barry (Terri) Fielder of Little Rock, AR, Kelli (Joe) Carson of Memphis, TN and Greg (Melony) Fielder of Little Rock, AR; 12 grandchildren, Ben (Addie) Woods, Lindsey (Zach) Fisher, Clay (Katrina) Carson, Brett (Meredith) Fielder, Jonathan (Dannie) Woods, Logan (Samantha) Carson, Austin (Rachael) Carson, Abby (Craig) Harwell, Alex (Mallory) Woods, Braden (Adrianna) Carson, Taylor Fielder and Josh Fielder. She also adored her 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2024 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Roller Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, AR. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Sparrow's Promise, 208 E Moore Ave, Searcy, AR 72143.
