of Clarksville, AR

December 9, 1947 - May 16, 2024

Charles Cummings, a 76-year-old resident of Clarksville, passed away peacefully in his home on May 16, 2024. He was born on December 9, 1947 in Richmond, California to Edie and Edward Cummings. In his youth, Charles was a skilled mechanic who loved racing at the Antioch Speedway. He enjoyed competing in fishing tournaments, camping with his family, building and flying large RC planes and hunting with his beloved dog, Jake. Charles was a quick-witted man with a great sense of humor and a deep appreciation for music, especially The Beatles. There are not enough words to express how much he was loved or how deeply he will be missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Terri Cummings; his two daughters, Valerie (David) Tiedy and Nikki (Jeff) D'Amours; his grandchildren, Heather Eddinger, Samantha (Greg) Steelman, Dustin D'Amours and Skylar D'Amours; his great-grandchildren, Camden, Grayson and Kaiden Steelman and Elena Mcamis; his five brothers, Jesse (Deanna), Doug (Becky) McGowan, Alan (Sheri) McGowan, Bill (Julie) McGowan and John (Stephanie) McGowan; his sister, Janice Lee; his niece, Christine Edwards; his nephew, Christopher "Bubba" Forsythe and his uncle, Carl Cummings.

To honor Charles, we ask that you simply go outside and enjoy the beautiful sunset. You never know what tomorrow will bring.

Miss you uncle Charles! I really wish we had not missed so much time not staying in communication. I always thought highly of you. Now you and your sister (my mom) are together again and hopefully both are happy and catching up on everything you both experienced in life. Love you
