I am Jerdean (Jerre) Faulkner-Adams. I am not sure if this is the Jane Hartley that I know and worked with at Methodist University in the Worker’s Compensation Department.
I have tried making contact with her over the years.
Our department was outsourced in 2008.
I LOVED Jane as a coworker and a dear friend.
The Jane I knew lived in Arkansas, I can’t remember what city.
Jane, the sweet spirit that I knew loved to cook. As a matter of fact, I have several recipes to this day that she gave me. She was a GREAT COOK as she would bring different DELICIOUS dishes to the department events. Whether it be pot luck, birthday etc.
I think of her with a heartfelt love whenever I look at this GORGEOUS zebra print blanket she gifted me either for my birthday or at Christmas.
She knew I loved anything with animal print.
Grant you, this blanket was given to me around the year 2007.
It now has a home on my couch in the living room.
If this is the family of the Jane Hartley that I knew, know that I loved her and will miss her.
If you’re not the family, accept my apologies for the details and I would like to extend my condolences to this family in the loss of their love one.
Thank You
RIH JANE
I worked with Jane when she and I both worked at Crittenden Hospital West Memphis. She was in delivery when my daughter Laura Ellen was born in 1975. She was sweet and loving to everyone. I miss her but I know I will see her again in heaven. I pray for Gods comfort and peace for her family. She will be missed by me and everyone who knew her.
Mr. Bill, Ellen, Laura and Family....there are no words to explain how wonderful Mrs. Jane was to me as well as to my kids and my parents. She truly has been there for almost every single up as well as down that we ever endured. She always helped me to look at the positive aspects of life, laugh about things that I could not control and continue to smile and move forward. Please know that she will have a special spot in my heart forever and each of you will always be in my prayers for comfort and peace. I love you all. PB

Such sad news to hear. We talked when we saw each other about our Crawfordsville days years ago. It seemed we were all at Uncle John's on Friday nights too. I also had the privilege of knowing her during her working years at Crittenden and she could brighten anyone's day with her calming voice and gentle spirit. She loved the world and the world loved her back. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. My sincere prayers for her entire family during this difficult time.
