of Searcy, AR
November 7, 1942 - May 15, 2024
Ena D. Elmore, 81, of Searcy, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2024. Born in Ukraine on November 7, 1942, Ena /Baba/ Ena Mae was one of a kind. After finding refuge in the United States with her mother and siblings, Ena met the love of her life, Carroll Elmore as a senior in high school. They were married in her mother's living room on July 3, 1963 and welcomed their children, William Gentry and Ena Christine in 1965 and 1968.
Our Baba never failed to make someone smile. She always placed her needs aside to help others. Baba was and will always be one of our role models and someone whose name we are proud to share. She was always filled with joy, had a smile on her face and made you feel safe and at home. She will continue to be known for her garden, plants, flowers, altering and most significantly, her love. If she was not outside working in the yard or in her sewing room, she was probably at church serving others. She loved us hard and well, teaching us to do the same. Without her, none of us would be who we are today. We are certainly glad to have learned to shine her spirit through our own lives.
Ena is survived by her brother, Alex Dee and his wife, Julia; brother, Mickey Krawczenko and his wife, Inga; brother, Victor Krawczenko; son, Bill Elmore; daughter, Christine Elmore Harrell and her husband, Tim; daughter-in-law, Laurie Elmore; granddaughter, Stacey Harrell Batts and her husband, Garren; granddaughter, Hayleigh Elmore and her husband, Conrad Staton; granddaughter, Ena Catherine Antone and grandsons, Logan Elmore and Miles Harrell.
In Heaven, Ena is worshiping her Lord and Savior, joining her mother, Anna Krawczenko; sister, Era McDonald; daughter-in-law, Renee Elmore and most excitingly her husband of 56 years, Carroll Elmore, in eternal joy and peace.

I remember when Ena worked for First Security Bank at the drive in bank in my insurance office building. Once, but only once I teased her about being Russian. She quickly let me know she was Ukrainian! She was fun to have working there. Condolences to the family.
Ena and her entire family were very big influences in my life during my years at Temple Baptist. Lots and lots of memories of Ena and the Bible drills. Such a Godly woman and she has definitely gained her heavenly reward. The rest of the family shall rejoice in knowing she's in the arms of God and that we shall meet again.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time as you celebrate the victorious “ change of address “ that Ena Elmore is enjoying.
My sincere condolences to the Elmore & Harrell families. Even though I haven’t seen Ena in a long time I enjoyed working with her at First Security Bank many years ago. She will be greatly missed not only by family but, also by her many, many friends.

I have so many great memories of Ena, dating back to when she and Carroll moved to Searcy. We water skied side by side, worked side by side and shared laughter and tears. It has been a privilege to be counted as a friend. She's in Heaven and some day I know we will walk together again side by side. May all her family feel God's loving arms around them during this sad time.
Ena was such a special friend of our family.
I will always cherish the wedding dress she made for me.
Love, Holly
My prayers and love to this sweet family
Ena was so very special to me & was loved by Renee. My love and prayers.
