Stephen Wayne Bird, 40, a resident of Ozark passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 in Fort Smith. He was born September 29, 1983 to Randy Jones and Cindy Morgan. Stephen loved to be outdoors; he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Even more so, he loved being with his family and spending time with his uncles and cousins. Stephen was a beloved brother who loved his sisters.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy Morgan of McAlester, Oklahoma
He is survived by his father, Randy Jones of Ozark; two sisters, Sonya Smith and husband, Todd of Derby, Kansas and Tonya Bird of McAlester, Oklahoma; one step-sister, Stormi Morgan of La Porte, Texas and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; one nephew and numerous nieces and other relatives and friends.
Cremation arrangements are private under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
